One of the biggest festivals, Dussehra marks a special occasion for Mercedes-Benz India in the year 2020. The brand delivered 550 new cars during Navratri and Dussehra. However, the similar or increased flow of deliveries during Diwali and Dhanteras is expected.

Delhi NCR alone delivered 175 cars during this year’s Navratri and Dussehra season. Mercedes Benz India reckons the feat is reminiscent of the sales success compared to the same period in 2019. This achievement marks a strong comeback in festive sales.

Growth prediction in sales- post lockdown

With completely negative trends in figures of sales, the automobiles have seen the worst phase ever in recent times. The FY21 started off with Covid-19 pandemic around the world. However, as the ongoing festive season returns, sales keep increasing as usual.

The Q3 2020 is changing sales numbers for Mercedes Benz India, as the growth of 25 percent MoM records sequentially. However the overall Q3 2020 sales are comparatively lower than Q3 2019 sales with a difference of 38.61 percent.

There’s a lot in the portfolio of cars with Mercedes-Benz. This was made possible with the help of value driven financial and cost of ownership packages. ‘Unlock Celebrations’ campaign by Mercedes-Benz’ has improved customer response with flow of enquiries.

Taking the sales figures through January to September 2020, there’s a decline by 4,908 units at 5,007 units, down 49.50 percent from 9,915 units sold in the same 9 months in 2019.

While the Q3 continues for a few more weeks with improvement, Mercedes Benz India looks at the upcoming Q4 to be much better in the sales segment.
